Adding your dog is easy! We have a few simple guidelines below that will help make sure your dog looks his or her best in Pippa’s imaginative world. The closer you follow our instructions, the happier you will be with the images Pippa makes for you.
Provide 10-20 diverse photos of your dog
Find at least ten great photos of your dog. Cell phone photos are just fine. Keep your dog in focus, with good lighting and in a non-busy environment.
Include different environments, angles, and expressions
Pippa needs to ‘see’ your dog indoors and outdoors, in various angle and facial expressions. The more variety you provide, the better the results will be. Be sure to upload a few images that show your dog at their eye level – this helps us get their proportions right!
Add close-up headshots for better detail
Details do matter. Include 2-3 close-up head shots in good lighting make all the difference in the quality of the images Pippa makes for you.
Humans hugging or close to your dog
Best to crop out people in your photos – just include your dog!
Other dogs in the photo
Other dogs in your photos will confuse Pippa. Please crop out other dogs.
Blurry or poorly lit photos
Details matter here. Only submit clear, in-focus images in well-lit environments.
Black-and-white photos
We need color photos of your dog so Pippa can make sure to show you an accurate scene of your dog.
Near-Duplicate pictures
Don’t submit images that are very similar. We’d rather you upload more variety in your scenes.
Create an album of your dog on your Photos application, this will make it easier than scrolling for photos!
Try to find pictures of your dog as the main focus, any other subjects might get bad results!
Use the iOS search function and search dog.
